DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Jill Massengill\n\n What You'll Learn:  Students will learn essential belly dance fundamentals\, including: basic isolations\, gentle undulations\, posture\, and alignment. Instruction emphasizes anatomical awareness\, joint health\, and safe movement patterns. Students will also be introduced to musicality\, simple layering\, and expressive movement in a welcoming\, non-judgmental environment.  \n\nStudents will leave with a strong introductory foundation in belly dance\, practical tools to continue practicing at home\, and greater confidence in their ability to move with fluidity and self-expression. Participants will also gain a sense of community and a joyful appreciation for dance as a form of exercise\, creativity\, and emotional release.\n\nSkill Level/Age Range:  All levels / 12+\n\nStudent Instructions: Please wear comfortable and/or playful clothing.\n\naterials Needed:  Instructor will have a large supply of costumes for purchase (optional)
