HEAVENLY BODIES | The Unstreamables Series at the North Bend Theatre

Samantha (Cynthia Dale, MY BLOODY VALENTINE) is a single mother pulling double duty as an office secretary and the co-founder of the hot new gym in down, Heavenly Bodies. Business is doing well, she’s found a second chance at love with football player Steve (Richard Rebiere), and she’s landed a gig hosting an aerobics program on a major TV network. The only problem? In landing that gig, she’s ruffled the feathers of a wealthy fitness tycoon and his lover, who threaten to buy her out. Holding onto her integrity, she challenges them to a televised, winner-take-all aerobics tournament. The sole directorial effort from the late, great character actor Lawrence Dane (SCANNERS, BRIDE OF CHUCKY), HEAVENLY BODIES is part FLASHDANCE, part ROCKY workout montage, and all high energy, featuring expert dance choreography and a rockin’ soundtrack featuring Boys Brigade, Bonnie Pointer, and an original song from Sparks.
